What is Budget Coaching?
Every situation is different and the exact extent of our assistance will depend on your personal circumstances. However, we will usually follow the steps below when supporting you;
After you have attended one of our Money Courses, your Budget Coach will start by seeking to understand your personal situation
We will then decide together what kind of support you would like and how many coaching sessions we will be to able provide
We will review your income and spending with you and help you to create a realistic budget that meets your essential living costs
We will talk about your spending priorities and encourage you to set some savings goals for the future
We will discuss together ways to help you live within your budget and make savings
We will encourage you to explore new ways of managing your money, such as ‘Piggy Banking’, which will give you more confidence day-to-day
