About Us

First established in 2002, St Paul’s Money Advice Centre (‘SPMAC’) is an independent local charity with its own board of trustees which exists to support the provision of debt and money advice in the Hammersmith area and beyond. Today, SPMAC fulfills its mission in partnership with Crosslight Advice, through our support of the Crosslight branches in Hammersmith & Fulham. This partnership approach enables funds and resources to be deployed locally with local insight, whilst benefiting from a strong, unified service delivery infrastructure, pooled resources, and shared central expertise.

Raising Funds

SPMAC is responsible for most of the direct operating costs of the Hammersmith Branch, raising funds from local donors and grant making bodies.

Employing Staff

SPMAC employs the local staff team including the Hammersmith Manager, who provide advice as agents of Crosslight and are managed day-to-day by the wider Crosslight staff family.

Serving our community

SPMAC’s locally-based trustees help ensure that Crosslight in Hammersmith is rooted in and representative of the local community.

Through this partnership

Crosslight's Hammersmith Branch supported 601 individuals and families with with debt and money advice in the last 12 months

In the last 12 months:

All of the advice and support is provided completely free because of your generosity.

Church Partners

Crosslight works hand-in-hand with the local church. Our church partners generously provide us with office and appointment space in the heart of the local communities we serve. They also support us with a ready pool of willing volunteers as well as vital pastoral support and access to other community services.

Funding Partners

We are hugely grateful to all of those organisations who have so generously provided funding for our work.
